Portland to the MLS!!!

So I'm enjoying a Guinness in celebration of the Portland Timbers being promoted to the MLS (Major League Soccer)! The announcement by Don Garber nearly brought me to tears. The Timbers are one of Portland's better kept secrets. Things won't kick off until 2011, which is some time off, but hopefully it'll fly by. Until then, I'll continue to attend the Timbers in the USL.
